FAMILY'S DAY OUT TO MOONRIVER RESORT

It has been a very special routine for our family to bond in this very relaxing place every time he comes home in the Philippines after an 8-month contract from work. Aside from the advantageous location, yes just really near our home, we just simply like to come in this place so many times in a year because it is not really that crowded we can really relax and enjoy the view (though most are man-made kind of ambiance but still we like it here!)

From the time we arrived there, we just can feel the very welcoming ambiance of the place. They actually have a very conducive parking lot. Their carts were ready for the customers' needs for their things before they get inside the resort. And more importantly, they did had a very affordable entrance fee. That is why I could never see any reason why our family can't help but keep on coming back to this place! Really worth going!

My children really have a great time dipping and swimming and running around in here. They as well have rooms if you wish to stay for a couple of days and nights.  And you can as well spend any of your family's special occasions here! They have the necessary choices of different cottages or villas that you may need according to the number of guests that you want them to cater to.

Spending a lot of quality time with the family is indeed worth every second. There is no wasted time. From the very moment that we are completely gathered together, I have then came to realize that wherever we may go as long as the family is together it creates a strong relationship between all the members most especially the siblings. It indeed helped them grow lovingly together with so much joy and love in their hearts!

Normally, the place isn't really been an issue for our family outside bondings as long as everything id within the budget and e are altogether the value and the intensity of our happiness are never ever been compromised! The same level of joy, fun and sweet memories that we kept on filling up to each of our memory banks! That is why it is of great importance that we let our children understand the real meaning and value of spending quality time with the family!

For us, going a little bit too far from home together is somewhat just an icing to the cake. Because even when we spend beautiful Sundays in our backyard or in our garage so long as we are all in it then everything is still the same the fun, the joy and the love that keeps on revolving in we still stays as is every time we are together!

This was such a very happy day for us! I kept on praising God for giving me this most special gift to have spent the day with all of my children and as well as to my other half!

DISCLAIMER:
I am just merely sharing our family's experience with the place. I was never paid or whatsoever to say review or say any commentaries regarding the place I have stated. You check the place yourself just Google everything that you need to know and you may visit personally to see how you too may find it your way.

HAPPY 2009

HAPPY FAMILY! HAPPY 2009!!!

FOR LUCK IN THE NEW YEAR
Traditionally, it was thought that one could affect the luck they would have throughout the coming year by what they did or eat on the first day of the year. For that reason, it has become common for folks to celebrate the first few minutes of a brand new year in the company of family and friends. Parties often last into the middle of the night after the ringing in of a new year.

THE PROSPERITY CANDLES

each color of these candles has its meaning...and it is in the small manual inside it when you buy it in Quiapo church which as well includes a prayer...you just have to observe which candle burns fast...and that's you will experience the whole year...

THE WATER OF LIFE every year, this has been our family's tradition even from our great grandparents and passed on to generations to generations to drink the water with 7 fresh petals and make sure that everyone in the family has to drink on the same glass...it symbolizes refreshment and a life of good health...

yes, indeed everyone had a share of it! me, my husband, my kids, my sister, my brother and a cousin who was with us during the new year...

The long noodles are meant to symbolize long life, and you should take care to eat them without breaking the noodles.

CHOCOLATES which brings sweetness...
Eating Greens Eating vegetables such as cabbage, collard greens, mustard greens, chard, or kale for New Year's seems to be associated with the idea that the folded greens symbolize money and are thought to bring good fortune.

Legumes

Legumes including beans, peas, and lentils are also symbolic of money. Their small, seedlike appearance resembles coins that swell when cooked so they are consumed with financial rewards in mind.

The custom of eating pork on New Year's is based on the idea that pigs symbolize progress. The animal pushes forward, rooting itself in the ground before moving.

malagkit Rice...

to make blessings stick on the whole year round...

Fish Scales to Symbolize Silver
Fish, especially those with silvery scales, is thought to be a lucky food for the new year

Pork for New Year's
Pork is a symbol of prosperity in many cultures, which is one reason pork dishes are often associated with New Year's feasts. Pigs are considered good luck because they root forward, symbolizing progress, and the fatty meat is also symbolic of fattening wallets

Foods like doughnuts or bagels which are shaped like rings are thought by some people to represent the year coming full circle and are believed to bring luck.

firecrackers/
fireworks...

to drive away evil spirits...

"torotots"

let's make some noise!!!

we cooked everything that we needed...and I let the kids sleep in the afternoon to make them fully charged at midnight...because I wanted to make sure that everyone's awake at midnight...

in the afternoon just before meeting the New Year I and my husband went to Market-market to shop for all the necessary things needed for our family's celebration at midnight...well, lucky for me that I got everything I needed though! which probably be a good sign!

===i'm back again part2===

yeah, after a long time of being out of the flow..here I am again..and will soon be knocking to each and everyone's precious doors... I believe this thing has been a part of me...but as much as I wanted to log on each and every minute of my day with this...there are still these scrambling things that are beyond our control..that was why as purely human as I am I opt to stay just behind the level of my comfort zone...
but as long as I am here starting to click and tik tak once and for all these keyboards, I will once more keep in touch with you my beloved friends here there and everywhere!
so as I would say I MISS MY THING...

my pizza poch kidz....

my kids are a big fan of pizza poch at Pizza Hut...after a long way route inside the mall...after a very tiring walk...we ate....yuh! family's personal favorite part when going out...

here Andre stroke a pose as we arrived at the south wing of the mall...

the fresh air within the city was indeed naturally soothing!

here was the big fountain... well, I never got to take a shot while the water was high! but that was it! very nice and relaxing view...

and in this fountain where we got to throw a coin and whisper a wish! yuh and the great thing is the coins gathered through this fountain has got to go to charity...it was after all worthwhile indeed!

here we go as we enjoyed ourselves throwing coins!

I must say that intimate bonding with the family need not be too expensive...it's the thought behind the bond that counts the most!
